Ibisbill; a monotypic family containing only the Ibisbill, a distinctive, long-billed shorebird of high-altitude Himalayan and Central Asian rivers. Named for its curved ibis-like red bill used to probe beneath river boulders for invertebrates. Plumage grey with striking black face and breast band.
