Medium quail-dove, 26–30 cm, with brown upperparts, grey head, white throat, and a whitish band across the upper breast. Inhabits humid montane forest in the Andes from Colombia and Venezuela to Bolivia. Terrestrial frugivore and granivore. Least Concern.
