Grey-winged Trumpeter (Psophia crepitans) is a large 45–52 cm ground-dwelling bird of Amazonian rainforests. Glossy black body with pale grey wing patches; hunched posture. Lives in noisy social groups in undisturbed lowland terra firme and várzea forest from the Guianas to Bolivia. Feeds on fruit and invertebrates on the forest floor.

Inhabits undisturbed lowland Amazonian forest in Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Social; lives in flocks of 3–12 birds with complex cooperative breeding.
