Inhabits Atlantic Forest, cerrado woodland, and interior humid forests of eastern South America in Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. Forages on the forest floor for seeds and invertebrates. Least Concern; dependent on forest cover but broadly distributed in southeastern Brazil.
Nahan's Partridge
