About These Birds
Bismarck Boobook
The Bismarck Boobook is a small hawk-owl endemic to the Bismarck Archipelago in Papua New Guinea. It has brown plumage with pale spotting on the upperparts and streaked underparts typical of boobook owls. It is nocturnal, hunting small vertebrates and large insects in forest and forest edges.
Schnee-Eule
