About These Birds

Stieglitz

Anianiau

The Anianiau is a tiny endangered Hawaiian honeycreeper with an 11.5 cm wingspan, weighing around 10.4 grams. It is the smallest of the Hawaiian honeycreepers, found only in native forest on Kauai. It feeds on nectar from native flowers and small arthropods.
