How to Tell Them Apart
Haussperling
Males have grey crowns, chestnut napes, black bibs, and streaked brown backs. Females and juveniles are plain buffy-brown with a pale eyebrow stripe.

Der Haussperling ist vermutlich der weltweit erfolgreichste Vogel im Zusammenleben mit dem Menschen. 1851 in New York eingeführt, verbreitete er sich innerhalb weniger Jahrzehnte über ganz Nordamerika.
