About These Birds
Bicolored Antpitta
The Bicolored Antpitta is a secretive, ground-dwelling antpitta found in montane cloud forests of the West Andes in Colombia. It has rufous-chestnut upperparts and pale greyish-white underparts, making it distinctive among antpittas. It hops along the forest floor feeding on earthworms, insects, and small invertebrates in dense Andean undergrowth.
