Bar-tailed Treecreeper
The Bar-tailed Treecreeper is a small treecreeper of the family Certhiidae found in montane forests and conifer woodland across the Himalayas and mountains of Central Asia. Weighing about 8.6g with a wingspan of 13.7cm, it has a barred tail and streaked brown plumage providing excellent camouflage on bark. It creeps spirally up tree trunks, probing crevices for insects with its curved bill.
