Rufous-bellied Seedsnipe: 25–28 cm, largest seedsnipe with rich rufous underparts and cryptic scaled brown upperparts. Resident on rocky puna and high Andean plateau from Ecuador to northern Chile and Argentina at 3,500–5,000 m. Feeds on seeds and plant material. Sedentary high-altitude specialist. Highly camouflaged when motionless.
