The Black-chinned Whistler is a medium-sized whistler of forest canopy in the Moluccas and surrounding islands of eastern Indonesia, with males showing grey upperparts and a distinctive black chin and throat band contrasting with yellow underparts. It inhabits primary and tall secondary tropical forests. It feeds on insects, small lizards, and berries, and is known for its loud, melodious whistling calls.
