Black-tailed Godwit: 36–44 cm, elegant godwit with a straight bill, bold white wingbar, and black tail. Breeds on wet meadows from Iceland across Eurasia; winters in Africa, South Asia, and Australasia. Feeds on worms and invertebrates in muddy fields and estuaries. NT. Icelandic population in sharp decline due to lowland grassland loss.
