Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.
Sunda Collared-dove
Medium dove, 29–33 cm, brown with a pale grey head, two black neck collars (one partial, one full), and a pinkish breast. Native to the Lesser Sunda Islands, Philippines, and adjacent Indonesian islands. Inhabits open forest, scrub, and agricultural land. Granivore of seeds and grains.
