Collared Imperial-pigeon (Ducula mullerii), 43 cm. Dark metallic green with a distinctive pale collar and grey head; pinkish underparts. Found in lowland forest of southern New Guinea and the Aru Islands. Frugivore. Least Concern; moderately common in suitable habitat.

New Britain Bronzewing

Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.
