Yellow-eyed Pigeon (Columba eversmanni) — 28–32 cm. Small; pale grey; yellow orbital skin and eye; faint green neck gloss. Inhabits arid steppe, farmland, and open woodland from Central Asia to northwest China. Granivore; migratory; declining due to agricultural intensification. Vulnerable.

Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.
