Dark-tailed Laurel-pigeon (Columba bollii) — 36–40 cm. Dark slaty-grey; iridescent green-and-pink neck patch; dark undertail. Endemic to Tenerife and La Palma (Canary Islands) in dense laurel cloud forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable; restricted to remnant laurisilva habitat. Closely related to White-tailed Laurel-pigeon.
Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.
