Black-headed Cuckooshrike

The Black-headed Cuckooshrike is a medium-sized bird with a black head, white underparts, and gray-brown upperparts, the male showing a clean black-and-white pattern. It inhabits open forest, forest edges, and scrubland across the Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka. It feeds on insects and caterpillars gleaned from foliage, often foraging high in the canopy of large trees.
