Alcippeidae

Fulvettas; ~12 species of small, brownish, arboreal babblers in South and Southeast Asia. Active, restless foragers in forest understorey. Most species are nondescript grey-brown but have distinctive voices. Separated from the large Old World babbler family by molecular phylogenetic studies.
