Black-capped Tyrannulet

The Black-capped Tyrannulet is a small, olive-green tyrant flycatcher of Andean cloud forests, distinguished by its black cap and yellowish supercilium. It ranges from Venezuela and Colombia south through Ecuador and Peru to Bolivia, inhabiting humid montane forest edges and secondary growth at elevations from about 1,500 to 3,000 meters. It feeds on small insects, gleaning them from foliage.
