Audouin's Gull
Audouin's Gull, 44–48 cm, is a Near Threatened Mediterranean endemic, breeding mainly in the western basin. Coral-red bill with black and yellow band, grey mantle. Primarily piscivore; forages at sea at dusk for anchovies. Population recovered from 1,000 to over 20,000 pairs; now threatened by fishing bycatch.
