Belford's Melidectes
Belford's Melidectes is a large honeyeater of montane forests in the highlands of New Guinea, from the Arfak Mountains to Papua New Guinea. It has brown plumage with a yellow facial wattle and a long, decurved bill adapted for extracting nectar from forest flowers. It also feeds on fruit and insects in the forest mid-story.
