Finsch's Imperial-pigeon (Ducula finschii), 40 cm. Dark metallic green upperparts; grey head and pale underparts with a pinkish wash. Found in lowland forests of New Guinea and the Bismarck Archipelago. Frugivore. Least Concern; widespread but sensitive to hunting.
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
