Ashambu Chilappan
The Ashambu Chilappan is a Vulnerable passerine restricted to the Ashambu Hills at the southern tip of the Western Ghats, India. Weighing about 40g with a wingspan near 16.6cm, it inhabits dense subtropical forests. Its restricted range and forest dependence make it particularly susceptible to habitat loss.
