White-collared Pigeon (Columba albitorques) — 34–38 cm. Dark grey overall; bold white hindcollar; white wing spots. Endemic to Ethiopia in rocky highlands, escarpments, and gorges at 1,500–4,000 m. Granivore. Listed as Least Concern but range restricted to the Ethiopian Highlands.

Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.
