Forbes's Plover: 18–20 cm, sub-Saharan African plover with a white forehead, incomplete chestnut breast-band bordered by black, and flesh-colored legs. Resident in open woodland, burnt grassland, and farmland from Senegal east to Ethiopia and south to Angola. Insectivorous, foraging on bare ground. Largely sedentary.
