The Antioquia Brushfinch is a critically endangered sparrow-like bird from Colombia, weighing around 28 grams with a wingspan near 14 cm. Known from only a single location in Antioquia department, it faces imminent extinction due to habitat loss and its extremely limited range. It is among the rarest birds in South America.

The Bay-crowned Brushfinch is a robust brushfinch endemic to the dry scrub and Andean slopes of northern Peru. It has a bright rufous crown, grey face, and streaked brownish upperparts. Like other brushfinches, it forages on or near the ground for seeds and insects in dense shrubby habitats.
