About These Birds
Black-collared Bulbul
The Black-collared Bulbul is an unusual bulbul of West and Central African savanna and woodland, with white underparts, olive-grey upperparts, and a neat black collar across the throat. It inhabits wooded savanna, bush edges, and forest margins from Gabon and Cameroon east to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. It feeds on fruits and insects, foraging in the mid-story.
