The Grey-headed Lovebird, <em>Agapornis canus</em>, is a member of the family Psittaculidae and inhabits forest environments within its native range in Madagascar. It is the only lovebird species endemic to Madagascar. This species nests in tree cavities, with an incubation period of approximately 23 days and a fledging period of around 43 days, giving a total pre-fledging development time of approximately 66 days.
