Papuan Mountain-pigeon (Gymnophaps albertisii), 35 cm. Robust montane pigeon; dark sooty-grey with a chestnut belly. Found in primary montane forest of New Guinea from 1,200 to 3,600 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in upper montane and subalpine forest.
