Bicolored Antvireo
The Bicolored Antvireo is a near-threatened small antbird restricted to foothill and lower montane forests of northwestern Ecuador and the southwest slope of Colombia. Males are grey and white and females are brown with buffy streaking. It forages in pairs in the forest midstory for insects gleaned from leaves and branches.
Amazonian Antshrike
The Amazonian Antshrike is a compact thamnophilid weighing around 20 g with a 13.9 cm wingspan, found in river-edge forest and dense scrub in the Amazon. Males are typically black-and-white while females show rufous tones.
