빛나는왕비둘기(Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. 대비되는 엷은 회색 머리·아랫면과 함께 풍부하게 무지개빛 청동-녹색 윗면. 700–2,200m의 뉴기니 산지림에 서식. 과일식성. 최소 관심; 구릉·산지림에서 흔하다.

Native to the Lesser Sunda Islands, Philippines, and adjacent Indonesian islands. Inhabits open forest, scrub, and agricultural land. Granivore of seeds and grains. Often domesticated across its range. Least Concern.
