About These Birds
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.

소형 비둘기로 체장 약 23cm이며, 갈색에 검은 날개 무늬와 밝은 눈 주위 피부를 갖는다. 안데스 산맥 콜롬비아에서 아르헨티나까지 고지대 암석 지대와 관목지에 서식한다. 씨앗을 먹는다. 관심 필요 종이다.
