빛나는왕비둘기(Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. 대비되는 엷은 회색 머리·아랫면과 함께 풍부하게 무지개빛 청동-녹색 윗면. 700–2,200m의 뉴기니 산지림에 서식. 과일식성. 최소 관심; 구릉·산지림에서 흔하다.

Inhabits open woodland, grassland, and rocky gorges in central and eastern Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. Granivore of seeds and small grains on the ground. Near Threatened due to altered fire regimes and habitat change.
