7–8 cm의 소형 벌새로 볼리비아에서 극소수 표본만 수집되었다. 구리색 깃털. 생태나 현재 상태에 대해 거의 알려진 바가 없다. 가장 신비로운 벌새 중 하나로 희귀하거나 간과되었을 수 있다. 추가 현장 조사가 필요하다.
