Seram Mountain-pigeon
Seram Mountain-pigeon (Gymnophaps stalkeri), 35 cm. Similar to Buru Mountain-pigeon; dark grey with rufous-chestnut underparts. Endemic to Seram Island, Maluku, Indonesia. Inhabits montane forest above 900 m. Frugivore. Vulnerable; island endemic dependent on intact highland forest.
Great Cuckoo-Dove
Large cuckoo-dove, 45–50 cm, with rufous-brown upperparts, a pale grey head and breast, and a very long, broadly barred tail. Found in lowland and hill forests of the Moluccas, New Guinea, and Bismarck Archipelago. Frugivore of large forest fruits. Impressive size makes it one of the largest cuckoo-doves. Least Concern.
