Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Palau Fruit-dove

Palau Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus pelewensis), 20 cm. Green with an orange forehead patch, rose-pink breast and white belly; endemic to Palau. Inhabits primary and secondary forest at all elevations. Frugivore. Least Concern; still common in Palau's well-forested interior.
