Sulawesi Woodcock: 32–36 cm, woodcock endemic to montane forest of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Nocturnal with cryptic brown plumage. Inhabits mossy forest above 1,000 m; probes leaf litter and soft soil for invertebrates. NT. Threatened by logging and agricultural conversion of highland forest. Sedentary island endemic.

Wandering Tattler

Wandering Tattler: 26–29 cm, uniformly grey sandpiper with yellow legs and bold barring on underparts in breeding plumage. Breeds on stony mountain streams of Alaska and northwestern Canada; winters on rocky Pacific shores and coral reefs from western North America to Pacific Islands and Australia. Bobs continually. Feeds on invertebrates.
