Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Sula Cuckoo-Dove

Medium cuckoo-dove, 28–32 cm, dark brownish-black overall with a bold white face patch. Restricted to the Sula Islands (Taliabu, Mangole, Sanana) in the Moluccas, eastern Indonesia. Inhabits lowland and hill forest. Frugivore. Near Threatened due to restricted range and forest clearance.
