Vencejo del Pacífico (Chaetura fumosa), 11–12 cm. Plumaje pardo-negruzco uniforme; rabadilla apenas más pálida. Cola muy corta. Habita en la vertiente del Pacífico de Costa Rica y Panamá. Vuela rápidamente capturando insectos. Poco estudiado en campo.
