Inhabits mossy forest above 1,000 m; probes leaf litter and soft soil for invertebrates. NT. Threatened by logging and agricultural conversion of highland forest. Sedentary island endemic.

Probes moist forest floor for earthworms and invertebrates. NT. Threatened by deforestation and agricultural encroachment. Sedentary montane endemic.
