About These Birds
Bay Antpitta
The Bay Antpitta is a secretive, terrestrial bird found in humid montane forests of central Peru. It has rich chestnut-bay upperparts and a buffy-white underside with fine streaking. Like other antpittas, it hops along the forest floor searching for earthworms, insects, and other invertebrates.
