White-bellied Seedsnipe: 26–29 cm, large seedsnipe with white underparts and cryptic brown-streaked upperparts. Resident on Patagonian steppe, Falkland Islands, and windswept coasts of Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn archipelago. Feeds on seeds, leaves, and plant material. Sedentary. Highly camouflaged; flushes explosively when disturbed.
