Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Sri Lanka Green-pigeon

Medium green-pigeon, 27–29 cm; male has a maroon back and a grey head; female has a green back. Found in forest and forest edge across Sri Lanka, mainly in the lowland wet zone. Frugivore of figs, berries, and small fruits in the forest canopy. Least Concern.
